A Budget At Last

By dave

In this episode of Clarity from Chaos, we discuss the recently passed Congressional Budget with Mr. Bill Straub, former White House correspondent and frequent contributor to P.J. Media.

The differences in the House Budget vs. the Senate Budget was that the House Budget sought to balance the budget in 9 years by cutting spending by $5.5 Trillion dollars. The Senate version was after the same goal but went to 10 years and sought to cut spending by $5.1 Trillion dollars.

Of course the Democrats howled and without exception, the main stream media supported their objection.

We however dug just a little deeper in this episode and tried as always to separate the wheat from the chaf.

Interview with Mr. Dan Perkins

By dave

Dan Perkins has been outspoken on the need to make America energy independent for the last 10 years. Buy using our own energy we wean ourselves from those nations we buy oil from who that at the same time are funding the terrorists who want to destroy us.

Mr. Perkins thinks that the first thing the new congress needs to do is not act to complete the XL pipeline no that is second. He believes we must lift the ban of exporting our crude oil. By lifting the ban American crude will become the largest oil exporting nation in the world, we will put millions of American to work in good paying jobs and getting America growing again. This one simple act could very well bring an end to OPEC and make America the global leader in energy.

“The Republican wave Tuesday could bring a gusher of oil down from Canada, as GOP gains in the Senate appeared to give backers of the Keystone XL pipeline a filibuster-proof majority.

The long-delayed final phase of the tube, envisioned as bringing oil from Alberta’s tar sands and North Dakota’s Bakken formation oil fields to Gulf Coast refineries, moved a major step forward as Republicans took control of the Senate. While Canadian oil is already piped into the U.S. via the existing, circuitous portion of the pipeline, the final phase would create a nearly straight shot from Alberta to Houston.

“I think you’re going to see us bring up energy legislation right away and Keystone will be one of the first things we pass,” Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D., said late Tuesday.

The TransCanada-built pipeline, which would cross over an aquifer in Nebraska, has been held up for six years by environmental and even diplomatic concerns. President Obama, under pressure from environmental groups, has repeatedly ordered reviews by the State Department.
